1. WARRANTY OVERVIEW

At 74 Weld, we take great pride in the quality and durability of our products. To ensure that our customers receive the best possible experience, we offer warranties on various parts and components. This document outlines the terms, conditions, and limitations of our warranties.

2. COVERED COMPONENTS AND WARRANTY PERIODS

The warranty coverage provided by 74 Weld is based on the specific components and the tire size that is used with them. The following outlines the key components covered under warranty and their respective terms:

a) Gears, Bearings, Unit Bearings, and Axle Shafts:
•Warranty Period: 1 Year
•Coverage: All gears, bearings, unit bearings, and axle shafts are warranted for defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the original date of purchase. • Limitations: The warranty is contingent upon the proper use of the product within the tire size guidelines listed below. Any product failure caused by the use of oversized tires, improper installation, or excessive abuse is not covered.
b)Uprights, Knuckles, and Caliper Brackets:
•Warranty Period: Lifetime
•Coverage: Uprights, knuckles, and caliper brackets are warranted for life against defects in material andworkmanship, provided that the vehicle is used within the manufacturer recommended tire size range.
•Limitations: Coverage for this warranty is based on having an authorized installation by a dealer orauthorized installer. Improper installation can lead to issues. So, in order to cover our customers, werequire that installations be handled by our dealers. If the tire size exceeds the specified limits for thecorresponding axle, these components are not covered by the lifetime warranty. Please refer to theapproved tire size limits for each axle type below.

3.TIRE SIZE LIMITATIONS
The warranty coverage for certain products is based on the size of the tires being used. Using tires that exceed the recommended sizes can lead to excessive stress on components, resulting in failure that is not covered under warranty. The following tire size limits apply:
•Bronco 32 Spline Axle: Up to 38-inch tire
• Jeep 32 Spline Axle: Up to 40-inch tire
• Toyota 30 Spline Axle: Up to 35-inch tire
• Toyota 32 Spline Axle: Up to 37-inch tire
• Toyota 36 Spline Axle: Up to 40-inch tire
• Ranger Raptor: Up to 37-inch tire
Note: Any attempt to run larger tires than those specified will void warranty coverage. For example, running a 40-inch tire on a 30-spline axle shaft may cause premature failure, and such damage is not covered under warranty.

4. STEERING RACK WARRANTY

• Coverage: The warranty for the steering rack is limited to the housing only. The housing is covered against defects in material and workmanship for the life of the product.
• Exclusions: The internals of the steering rack, such as the rack bar, gears, and seals, are not covered under warranty. Any breakage or failure of these internal components is not subject to warranty claims. Additionally, breakage caused by misuse or external factors is not covered. Any intrusion of water or dirt into the housing will void the warranty. The warranty does not cover wear items such as internal bushings which are designed to be wear items.
• Important Note: If you experience a breakage of the rack bar or related components that are not manufactured by 74 Weld, this will not be covered under warranty. The most common issue we see is rack failures due to aftermarket Heim joint steering leading to a tear in the boot. Once the boot tears water and debris can get into the rack and this leads to failure. This is not covered under any warranty. Make sure your boots are not torn and inspect them regularly. Tears in the boots will lead to a rack failure if not caught immediately.

5. WARRANTY CLAIM PROCEDURE
To file a warranty claim, the following steps must be followed:
1. Contact 74 Weld Support: Reach out to our customer support team at info@74weld.com or (619) 286-6656 to notify us of the issue and provide relevant details about the product and failure.

3. Product Return: If the warranty claim is approved, the customer may be required to return the defective product to 74 Weld for inspection. Shipping costs for returning the product are typically the responsibility of the customer unless the defect is deemed to be covered under warranty.
4. Evaluation: Upon receipt of the product, our engineering team will inspect the part and determine whether the issue falls within the warranty coverage. If the claim is approved, a replacement part or a repair will be offered, at the discretion of 74 Weld.

SHIPPING & RETURN POLICY

When shipping parts, our primary shipping is done through UPS ground and takes anywhere from 1-5 days depending on where you are located. When Portals are added into your order, it is then necessary that the shipment goes LTL (freight). We do not profit from shipping. Shipping costs are calculated on the website automatically during checkout based on the combined weight of all the items in your cart.  Freight transit times are estimated by the carrier.  The carrier cannot guarantee us (you) a specific delivery date.

Shipping & Backorders
74Weld tries to maintain a good stocking level in order to prevent back orders. However, in case a back order is necessary, 74Weld will ship the order as soon as parts become available. Backorders must be canceled within five days from when order is placed, or before when the parts become available, whichever is sooner. Otherwise, the parts will automatically be shipped to the buyer. 74Weld tries to ship regular, in-stock items the following business day. Please allow 5-10 working days for in-stock items to arrive. All shipping dates are approximate. Buyer is fully responsible for all shipping chargers, unless otherwise negotiated with 74Weld. Shipping to a residential address (as opposed to business address) may incur additional costs.

If you are having freight shipped to a residential address, you will need to make yourself available to the carrier. They need to call you to set up an appointment for the delivery. If you are not available to take the phone call, the shipment will incur storage fees, and/or return delivery fees. 74Weld is not responsible for these fees, and any other return shipping fees that may be needed to get the shipment back to you. We provide you with a tracking number when the shipment leaves, please keep an eye on it, especially for residential shipments!

Shipping Damage
74Weld packs all products carefully to prevent damage during shipping. However, damage may still occur occasionally in transit. Buyer must inspect the packaging and the products carefully upon receiving them, then accept or deny the shipment, and if need be, notate any damages and irregularities, such as crushed, torn, punctured, or broken parts on both the packaging and the product, on the freight bill or receipt at the driver’s presence. A signed receipt without any notation releases the carrier as well as 74Weld from any further damage claim. Discovery of damages after a clear delivery becomes the responsibility of the customer.

All damages must be notified to carrier AND 74Weld within 24 hours. In cases of damage with proper notion on receipt, the carrier will determine whether to pay for the repair cost or replacement value of the damaged goods after damage inspection. Replacement value is the amount the buyer paid to 74Weld and is not negotiable. All disputes about the settlement amount shall be addressed with the carrier. 74Weld, under no circumstances, shall be liable for the damaged product or for subsequent settlement of the claim with the carrier.
