Its more than a slogan, its how our products evolve. The history of this wheel is an interesting one. A few years back there was a rule change in Dakar allowing them to run a 17″ wheel. As a result, Method took this opportunity and worked closely with several Dakar teams to develop the MRW 207. The wheel had to be light, strong, accommodate a massive brake package, tuck the valve stem in a spot so that it was protected from rocks and debris. In short, the result of all these requirements drove the production of one of the best purpose built off road racing wheel.

We stumbled upon this wheel in 2024 during a conversation with Method’s lead engineer. We needed something better, something with more positive offset, something where the valve stem was very protected. They mentioned to us that they had the 207, but it was not a production wheel and wasn’t really available. With a few conversations, we were able to reach a deal on this and are excited to offer this awesome wheel to our customers.
